Prorata billing
For illustration purpose, we are assuming customer has subscribed to YOU Explore 500 plan that allows 2.5 GB download and speeds up to 2 Mbps per month. We will assume the billing period from 15 th - 31 st July 2007.

Your 1 st bill (prorated for 17 days, 15 th - 31 st July'07) will include the following:

•  Plan Charges: Plan charge is Rs. 561/- p.m. (inclusive of tax)

Prorated plan charge for the 15th - 31st July 07 will be Rs 307.75. [i.e (Rs.561/31days)*17days].

•  Monthly Device Rental : Rs.60/- per month
•  Additional MB charges

Free Mb entitlement for the month of July'07 = 2560 Mbs(2.5GB)

Free Mb entitlement for the period 15 th - 31 st July 07 will be =1403.87 Mbs [(2560Mbs /31days)*17days)
Excess Mbs rate as per the plan is 0.80 + Service Tax.

Your 1 st bill - Scenario 1

Your bill on 1st August 07 Usage being 1000 Mbs(no excess Mb usage)

Subscription charges:

(a) 15th July 07 to 31st July 07 = 307.75/-
(b) 1st August 07 to 31st August = 561/-
(c) Excess usage charges :NIL.
Therefore your approximate bill will be (A+B+C) = 868.75

Your bill on 1st August 07 Usage being 2000 Mbs.(excess Mb usage)will be



(a) 15th July 07 to 31st July 07 Rs 307.75/-
(b) 1st August 07 to 31st August 07 Rs 561/-

(c) =596.13 Mbs*0.80 paise = 476.90/-

Therefore your approximate bill will be (A+B+C) =1349.90/-

Each subsequent month's bill will include the following:

•  Plan Charges:

Plan charge is Rs. 561/- p.m. (inclusive of tax)

•  Monthly Device Rental : Rs.60/- per month
•  Additional Mb charges if any
•  Discounts - Depending on the mode of payment selected (on-line, drop box etc), you will be entitled to discounts if any offered by the company during that month.
•  Taxes - As applicable will be included in your monthly bill
