  1. How should I install a Softphone based connection ?

The system requirements should be as follows :

1. Minimum system requirements for using YOU Call Phone

For a PC Phone:

1. Pentium 100 MHz PC or higher (not available with Macintosh)
2. 16 Mb RAM
3. Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
4. Windows-compatible full duplex sound card
5. Microphone and speakers, or head/handset
6. Internet TCP/IP connection (28.8 bps, SLIP or PPP minimum)
7. YOU Call Net Telephony Dialer ( http://voip.youtele.com/ )
  1. Install the softphone from the installer CD provided to you. In the event that customer does not have a CD drive, Install the VOIP softphone after downloading from http://voip.youtele.com/
  2. Register the VOIP pin on http://voip.youtele.com/ as follows :

i. Click on “New user ? SIGN-UP
ii. Enter the voip coupon in the “PIN” text box and click “LOGIN”

Please enter the fields on the page as follows :

iii. User Id – this can be same as the customer's web user id
iv. User name – can be the customer's first name + last name
v. Telephone Id – should be the PIN
vi. Telephone Pin No – this field can be any number. As of now this value is not used in our system
vii. Complete other details such as address etc
viii. Secret question and answer will be used for VOIP password reset and should be set by the customer.

Click on “Submit

  1. Open the Softphone installed on the customer's machine and login using the userid and password created in step C
  2. The customer's balance will be displayed in the dialer.
  3. Customer can make calls by dialing the number as follows :

i. 00<complete number with the country code>

  1. How can the customer administer the account ?
    1. Logon to voip.youtele.com and enter the VOIP ID and Password.
    2. Click on "Reports" & then "Calls Made". Select the desired time frame & click on "Submit". This is will get your Call Detail Record.
    3. Customer can change his password & other details using "User Admin" option
    4. Customer can renew the account by clicking “Renew account” in the User Admin
